Mari Tokita

Mari Tokita

Optometric Physician

​​​​​​​Dr. Tokita was born in Hawaii and attended Oregon State University. After graduating with a degree in microbiology, she worked on Maui as a Medical Technologist. She completed preceptorships in Arizona and Hawaii. In 1993 Dr. Tokita graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry and has been practicing in southwest Washington since 1998. She enjoys the outdoors and exercising, as well as spending time with her family.

​​​​​​​Dr. Garner attended Fresno State University before completing his education at Pacific University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating with honors in 1993. He completed a preceptorship at Tyndall airforce base in Panama City Florida, and has been a private practice optometrist in the Vancouver and Battle Ground areas since 1998. When he's not at the office, he enjoys riding his bike, playing pickle ball and reading.

David King

Dr. King is a native of the Central San Joaquin Valley of California. He attended California State University, Fresno before completing his Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 1994. He completed his internship at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Los Angeles VA and worked for a medical-surgical group before entering private practice in 1999. Dr. King is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of eye diseases, conditions, and vision problems. He lives in the Camas area with his wife Carrie. The couple has three sons, one daughter and three granddaughters who all live close by. Dr. King enjoys music, hiking, painting, reading and restoring photos.

Our Staff

Staff members at Advanced Eye Care & Battle Ground Vision Center are well trained in their field of expertise and attend continuing education classes throughout the year. This creates an office culture designed for excellent patient care and personalized service.
